Word Explosion

Summer has always been a great talker but in the last few weeks she has had a word explosion.

She talks in mini sentences she can string 4-5 words together at a time.

She is very clear and people are often surprised when they see such a pint sized toddler have such an extravagant vocabulary.

The 'average' for an 18 month old is 5-10 words as you can see Summer is well and truly above that. I think she was saying more than 10 words by the time she was just over one.
